Eco-friendly consumer goods brand Package Free inked a deal to move its warehouse to Industry City, the landlords of the Sunset Park, Brooklyn complex announced.

The direct-to-consumer home goods and beauty brand signed a two-year lease for 18,644 square feet of warehouse space in the 35-acre industrial and office campus.

Package Free, which offers sustainable versions of household products, will run its zero-waste, e-commerce operation out of Industry City. It has previously operated pop-up shops in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and in Chelsea Market.

“When Package Free initially approached us, it was strategically shifting gears to ramp up e-commerce and required loading access for daily shipments, high ceilings and open floor plates for fulfillment, and easy access to the [Brooklyn-Queens Expressway],” said Kathe Kramer Chase, director of leasing for Industry City. “We were able to deliver on all three, while also offering its employees on-site amenities not typically available at industrial properties.”

It will join other e-commerce companies at Industry City, including Tailored Industry, a made-to-order knitwear manufacturer; Rich Brilliant & Willing, a lighting designer and producer; and MPB, an online camera equipment resale marketplace.
